This is the first of many blog posts - some personal, some to just capture things I want to save.
We went to Keighley, Yorkshire in October, and found some family history items that were very special. Here is the grave stone for a John Moor:
This is the church in Keighley, St. Andrews.
It was a wonderful trip. Great weather, challenging driving, Fish & chips & mushy peas:

1821-1895 Moore, Abraham
I have been trying to document events in the life of my Great Grandfather Abraham Moore (1821-1895). He lived in the Keighley / Bingley / Oakworth area of West Yorkshire.
He married three times, as follows:
First - to Elizabeth Craven
The third marriage was to Sarah Bancroft (My grandfather Stephen Percy Moore was their last child)
I have created an excel file to document the events of his life, including census returns, births and deaths of family members, etc.
This is the 1841 census for Keighley (ages were approximated that year).
This is from my Roots Magic database.
This is Abraham Moore's pedigree.
If anyone has information about his family, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you ! !
